    Who We Are

Arizona Puggle Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of abused, neglected and unwanted puggles, education on the breed and general animal welfare.

    Our Mission

To maintain a west coast rescue program for abandoned, mistreated, or unwanted dogs. To provide proper veterinary care, nutrition and temporary shelter until we locate persons or families to provide permanent homes & care for these misplaced dogs.

    Making A Difference

Arizona Puggle Rescue is run by volunteers. Since we do not have a shelter all of our rescues are fostered in volunteer's private residences until we can find the dog a forever home.  We are in desperate need of fosters and volunteers throughout the west coast.  If you would like to find out how you might be able to help please contact us at azpugglerescue@outlook.com.

    You Can Help

We rely on donations in order to pay for the care of our rescues. We will never turn a puggle away due to age or health issues. Veterinary care for our rescues adds up quickly and can become very expensive. Won't you please consider making a tax deductible donation today?

    Mpenzi (Swahili for Lover)

Mpenzi came to Arizona Puggle Rescue after he was either abused by a human or hit by a car. We don't know the truth but from the way he reacts to some men we lean towards the first. Mpenzi's foot was broken in four places when we picked him up from the shelter. He had seen two vets who recommended amputation. We wanted to save his leg if we could and found an amazing vet that did. The prices were very comparable but we knew the road to recovery would be long. Mpenzi is worth it and healed in leaps and bounds.  After he recovered he was adopted by a wonderful military family that absolutely adores him.
